Things move so fast now – your phone’s doing the shopping, AI’s writing the cards – and it can all feel a bit much. So we’re putting the sleigh brakes on and inviting you to slow down and reminisce for a bit at our place.
As we edge towards our 20th year, we’ve been thinking about what makes Hawksmoor, Hawksmoor. Maybe it’s that sense of home, warmth and proper cooking – like Christmas at your nan’s, if your nan had a charcoal grill and a killer martini list.
We don’t do Christmas with a side of stress. No sprawling set menus or forced turkey traditions. Just the same Hawksmoor you know and (hopefully) love: simple food, cooked properly, served by brilliant people.
Add a few wreaths, some festive cocktails, a mince pie or two, and you’ve got the kind of Christmas that feels a bit more… analogue again.

New Christmas Cocktails

Last year, we partnered with some of our favourite bars across our favourite cities to create four limited edition festive cocktails, and they were a hit.
So, this Christmas, we’re bringing it back. We’ve teamed up once again with brilliant neighbourhood bars across New York, Dublin, Chicago, and Edinburgh to craft a brand-new line up of four seasonal sips designed to celebrate the best festive flavours.
A Little Festive Something on the Side
Christmas at Hawksmoor isn’t about tinsel and trumpets — it’s about taking the food you already love and giving it just the right hint of festive cheer. This year, we’ve added a few seasonal favourites to sit proudly alongside your steak, each one designed to make your feast feel that little bit more special.
Think Cows in Blankets (yes, they’re exactly as good as they sound), rich Bone Marrow Stuffing that could steal the show, and Buttered Sprouts with Chestnuts for those who like their greens with a Christmassy wink. And to finish? Mince pies, naturally — tiny, warm reminders that it’s perfectly acceptable to indulge a little more at this time of year.

Christmas Private Dining & Festive Gatherings
If you’re reading this, we’re guessing your boss, friend or family member, has tasked you with finding a private dining room for Christmas. Pinning down the ‘perfect place’ can be tricky, so we try to keep things simple.
It starts with group-friendly menus full of Hawksmoor classics, festive sides and hearty veggie/vegan options. Good food, delivered by a team who know how to put you at ease. We have two private dining rooms available, comfortably hosting between 14-18 guests, perfect for a festive family dinner, office party, or get-together with friends this Christmas.
